Every year I celebrate New Years at my Mum’s fancy dress party. This year was no different. Believe it or not I am meant to be John Lennon.

A lot of people moan this time of year about how rubbish the last 12 months were. Well not me. I had two new years resolutions last year and they were to buy my first house and find a new girlfriend. Granted I did get a girlfriend but it didn’t work out but forget her. I got onto the property ladder!I’m proud that as a 24 year old self employed online businessman I managed to get a mortgage in the current climate. Maybe I was lucky or maybe it’s not as gloomy out there as people think.

So how will 2012 be better? Well my aim is to take my online business to the next level. I’m lucky that I find it hard to keep up with demand so naturally I need to stock more and therefore make more money. It will be gradual and depend largely on what budget I have each month but I believe that this time next year I could be earning up to 50% more online. I also plan to start a new website offering online business advice for people wanting to turn their hobby into a business. The there’s getting a girlfriend and keeping hold of her. I do enjoy the single life but I’ll always keep one eye open. You never know who’s waiting around the next corner.

Last year the country was in shock when Mary Bale dumped a cat into a wheelie bin with no apparent motive. I’m sure the cat was quite distressed by the whole thing. My cat however loves getting into my bins just so he can attack whatever is in there. Sweet wrappers are his favourite. He can easily get into the bin in my office (something I think I’ll have to change) and today I thought I’d take some photos of him in there (that’s what people do these days right?).

So I’ve just came across this pretty cool site called Fiverr. Fiverr is a website where people offer services online for just $5. A lot of these seem to be advertising space, product/website promotion and also information. Some services though can be quite amusing such as this guy offering a video where he will cry about any subject of your choice for 20 seconds. I intend to use this website one day whether it be to buy or offer services as it seems quite fun.

So I briefly changed this blog into one where I write about online business. Well I’ve decided that I will make a brand new website for that one so I can keep this one about myself personally. After all the domain name is my name. I will keep the online business articles on here until my website is up and running, which will be sometime in 2012. This blog will now become about myself on a more personal level just as it was intended for.
