Way back in September 2006 the sand sculpture festival hit my home town of Great Yarmouth. It was failed as the biggest event of it’s kind in England (although I believe it was only the second sand sculpture festival to ever happen in England). The sand sculptures really were spectacular. There were over 60 in total, all with a mythological theme including the wooden horse of Troy, Cyclops and Odysseus. Below are just a few of the pictures I took at the festival.
